SpaceX is still targeting tonight for what will be a third attempt to get a Falcon 9 rocket off the launch pad at Cape Canaveral Space Force Station. It was last set to liftoff sometime during a two-hour window that opened at 11:25pm Wednesday, but the decision was made to delay the mission due to weather conditions. That was after a similar problem the day before. The next available two-hour window will open at 11:25 tonight. If that happens, we won’t hear any sonic booms this time. That’s because minutes after liftoff, the rocket’s first stage will attempt another successful landing on a drone ship in the Atlantic Ocean. That landing will mark that particular rocket’s 14th flight.
