SpaceX launched another batch of Starlink satellites from Cape Canaveral Space Force Station early this morning, and now another mission is set to take place later today. A Falcon 9 rocket lifted off from Launch Complex 40 at one minute after midnight, taking another 22 Starlink internet satellites to a low-Earth orbit…
That rocket’s first stage then made a successful landing on a drone ship in the Atlantic Ocean, marking it’s 15th successful mission. Next up, a triple-core Falcon Heavy rocket will launch from pad 39A at the Kennedy Space Center tonight. A 99 minute launch window opens at 11:04 p.m. Shortly after liftoff, the rocket’s two side boosters will attempt to make near-simultaneous landings at the Cape’s Landing Zones 1 and 2, meaning if all goes as planned tonight, we will hear some loud sonic booms when the rockets return.
