A crash Thursday in West Melbourne involving a motorcycle and a school bus, leaves one person dead. The Brevard Public Schools bus was carrying 28 students to Central Middle School, when it was hit by the motorcycle at the entrance to the school on Minton Road. The body of the motorcycle operator was pinned beneath the bus. That person was pronounced dead at the scene. None of the students or the bus driver were hurt. The name of the motorcyclist has not yet been released.
