For months now, we have been seeing Brightline trains travel up and down the tracks here along the Space Coast. The trains have been gradually increasing speed while doing final testing, and now they are hitting speeds of up to 125 miles per hour. Today, Brightline will finally begin actual passenger service between Miami and Orlando. When the system gets up to full service, there will be 16 daily round trips… that’s 32 trains each day… with hourly departures between Orlando and South Florida, and with other stops along the way… but none here in Brevard County.
