Brevard County officials now say that the shipping containers that are stacked up as a so-called “man cave” in the back yard of an Indiatlantic home must be removed. Neighbors have complained about the containers… saying they create a storm safety hazard and they are affecting nearby property values. County officials say a process failure resulted in a permit for the containers being issued in error. On Monday, the county said the containers violate code, and the homeowner has 10 days to take corrective action. If nothing is done, a hearing will be held to determine fines, which could be up to $1,000 a day.
