After getting some maintenance including a new “whale tail” and a fresh paint job, the Carnival Freedom has returned to Port Canaveral where the giant cruise ship joins the Carnival Liberty, the Royal Caribbean International Allure and Mariner of the Seas, and the Disney Cruise Line Wish. On Monday, all five of the big ships were in port. The Carnival Freedom had been removed from service for repairs after flames broke out in it’s funnel while it was on a cruise in Grand Turk.
