An Orange County firefighter has been arrested after deputies say she scattered nearly 100 red‑painted tampons on her ex‑boyfriend’s lawn in Volusia County. Investigators identified the suspect as 35‑year‑old Gabrielle Franze, who now faces misdemeanor stalking charges. Franze was booked into the Volusia County Jail and later released on bond. Orange County Fire Rescue has placed her on paid leave while the case moves forward.
