NASA’s next resupply mission to the International Space Station is going up today. SpaceX is targeting what they call an “instantaneous liftoff” at 12:07pm today, when a Falcon 9 rocket will take off from Launch Complex 40 at Cape Canaveral Space Force Station, taking with it an uncrewed Cygnus capsule loaded up with more than 4 tons of supplies and equipment… all headed to the International Space Station. It means that the launch must go up at exactly 12:07pm or it will have to be rescheduled. About 8 minutes after the launch, be ready for some loud sonic booms here along the Space Coast, as the first stage booster returns for a landing at Cape Canaveral Space Force Station. Forecasters say the weather looks almost perfect for today’s launch.
