If you were trying to get somewhere yesterday on the Beachline, you may very well know that there were some ‘issues’ yesterday. The Westbound Lanes of State Road 528 in Orange County were shut down for nearly 12 hours Monday after a fiery crash involving two semis. The two big rigs crashed and then burst into flames yesterday morning just after 8 in the westbound lanes of the Beachline near mile marker 19… shutting down all westbound travel lanes until about 7:30 last evening. One of the truck drivers… a 47-year-old man from Winter Haven… was taken to a hospital with minor injuries. The other driver was a 41-year-old Orlando man, who was not hurt. Nobody else was hurt but traffic was tied up all day.
