In Seminole County, a pedestrian was hit by a motorcyclist… literally! According to the Florida Highway Patrol, it happened when the 63 year old operator of the motorcycle failed to negotiate a curve in the road, and ran off the roadway, colliding with the curb. The force of the impact caused the motorcyclist to be thrown from the bike, and his body slammed into a passing pedestrian… a 23-year-old Winter Park woman. The man on the motorcycle was pronounced dead at the scene. The woman was not hurt. The whole thing remains under investigation.
