Police in Palm Bay continue to search for a suspect in a hit-and-run case that left a motorcyclist injured. Palm Bay say the 23-year-old driver who left the scene of a crash in January has been identified as Armando Martinez. The crash happened about 10:20am back on January 28 at the intersections of Eldron Drive and Collins Street. The driver of the motorcycle was at a stop sign when he was hit and then run over by a white Ford pickup truck, which never stopped. A warrant has been issued for Martinez’s arrest, on charges including leaving the scene of a crash with property damage, leaving the scene of a crash with injuries and driving while on a suspended license. The motorcyclist meanwhile, is said to be recovering.
