SpaceX is getting ready for another Starlink satellite launch on Friday night, setting the stage for a weekend of space activity. The Falcon 9 rocket will take off from Cape Canaveral’s Launch Complex 40. About eight minutes or so after liftoff, the first stage will return for a landing on a drone ship in the Atlantic Ocean. Meanwhile, Boeing’s Starliner is poised for its much-anticipated and so far, many times delayed crewed launch on Saturday, carrying NASA astronauts Butch Wilmore and Suni Williams to the International Space Station. The Starliner’s Atlas V rocket is scheduled to liftoff Saturday at 12:25pm. But of more problems crop up, backup opportunities are available on Sunday and beyond.
