The Wizard of Oz Museum is leaving Brevard County. The museum that has been operating in Cape Canaveral is pulling up stakes and heading for Osceola County to be a bit closer to Orlando and attractions like Disney World. Owner Fred Trust says they plan to open in Kissimmee, where they will have more room to expand and exhibit more memorabilia. Construction of the new museum is expected to take about 18-months, and during that time the current Cape Canaveral location will remain open.
