Tropics Getting Active

Tropical Storm Alberto is lumbering across the western Gulf of Mexico, set to make landfall in northern Mexico. While it won’t intensify much, it’s packing enough punch to bring tropical storm warnings and potential flash flooding to South Texas and northern Mexico. Meanwhile, a smaller disturbance east of Florida is making its way westward, but the good news as we first told you yesterday is that it’s unlikely to develop into anything significant. In fact, it’s boosting the chances of some much needed rain here along the Space Coast.
