New Spaceports Planned For Florida

Florida is solidifying its position as the world’s leader in rocket launches with the addition of two new spaceports. Governor Ron DeSantis signed a bill Monday establishing spaceports at South Florida’s Homestead Air Reserve Base and the Panhandle’s Tyndall Air Force Base. The new spaceports will further cement Florida as the global hub for aerospace commerce, and the expansion is expected to boost employment in the aerospace sector, which has already grown by 41% in the past decade.
