Tire Blowout Leads To Death On I-95

A 79-year-old man was killed in a crash caused by a tire blowout on Interstate 95 in Cocoa early Tuesday. It happened yesterday morning around 11:45 near mile marker 204. According to Florida Highway Patrol, the driver’s tire blew out, causing the 2005 Nissan Titan to flip over and eject the driver. He was pronounced dead at the scene. A 47-year-old passenger in the vehicle was not hurt. The investigation into the crash is ongoing.
