SpaceX Beats The Storms

SpaceX reached a major milestone on Monday night as it completed the Space Coast’s 50th orbital launch so far this year. After some early delays due to stormy weather, the Falcon 9 rocket lifted off at 7:30PM from Cape Canaveral Space Force Station, carrying a Turkish communications satellite into orbit. About 8 minutes after liftoff, the rocket’s first stage made another successful landing on a drone ship in the Atlantic Ocean. The next launch from here on the Space Coast is targeted for early this coming Saturday morning.
