There was a fatal head on collision Monday near Sebastian River High School. It happened in Indian River County on County Road 510 around 2:30 Monday afternoon. According to the Florida Highway Patrol, a northbound pickup truck crossed the center line, and then crashed into a southbound vehicle. The driver of the pickup truck was pronounced dead at the scene. The other driver suffered minor injuries and was taken to Sebastian River Medical Center for treatment. The road was closed for several hours and the cause of the crash remains under investigation.
