A Titusville man was in court on Tuesday, and he was sentenced to life in prison for a shooting in 2022 at a motel. Wade Field of Titusville, was actually sentenced to two life terms in prison on Tuesday for the 2022 murder of Siesta Motor Inn manager Dan Wade and the attempted murder of a housekeeper. Prosecutors presented video evidence showing Field shooting Wade and nearly killing the housekeeper, but his gun jammed. Field, who had been staying at the motel due to Wade’s kindness, later attempted to take his own life before being arrested. The sentence specifies that there will be no parole.
