Brevard County and Indiatlantic homeowner Joe Traska have reached a compromise over the controversial shipping container “man cave” in his backyard. Initially ruled to be in violation of county codes, the new agreement allows Traska to keep the structure if he updates its exterior to no longer resemble shipping containers. The proposal, which includes landscaping for added privacy and restrictions on use, is pending approval by county commissioners. If it is approved, Traska will avoid fines and retain his unique backyard addition.
