Another SpaceX Falcon 9 rocket launched early this morning from Cape Canaveral, successfully deploying 21 more Starlink satellites into orbit. However, the mission faced an issue when the rocket’s first-stage booster tipped over as it attempted to land on the drone ship, setting off an explosion and heavy flames. Despite that little setback, SpaceX confirmed that the launch was otherwise successful. The booster that missed its mark, was completing its 23rd flight as it failed to land properly on the barge in the Atlantic Ocean approximately 8½ minutes after liftoff, so you might say it has certainly earned its keep… up until this morning anyway.
