Floating Church On Indian River??

If you saw it, no doubt you did a bit of a double take. Some folks here along the Space Coast were surprised last Friday when they spotted a former chapel floating up the Indian River. The building, known as Chapel by the Bay, was originally a floating wedding chapel before being transformed into a livable houseboat. It was recently sold for $250,000, it’s now named “The Archangel” by its new owner. The 1,800-square-foot vessel, which features stained-glass windows and a steeple, is headed to Palatka, where it will be used as a floating bookstore and wellness retreat. The journey was expected to take about 20 days.
