Falcon 9 Rockets Grounded After Landing Mishap

The FAA has once again grounded SpaceX’s Falcon 9 fleet after a booster mishap during yesterday morning’s Starlink mission. The booster tipped over and fell after landing on a drone ship, prompting an investigation. The grounding has now delayed the highly anticipated Polaris Dawn mission, which was set to launch this week from the Kennedy Space Center, and then feature the first civilian spacewalk. No new launch date has been announced. The FAA’s investigation will determine the cause of the mishap and any necessary corrective actions before SpaceX can resume flights.
