Orlando Health has finalized the acquisition of Melbourne Regional Medical Center, Rockledge Regional Medical Center, and Sebastian River Medical Center in a $439 million deal. The purchase, approved by a U.S. Bankruptcy Court Judge, also includes certain Steward Medical Group practices. The agreement, initially set up in August, faced no competing bids by the deadline, leading to Orlando Health being confirmed as the successful buyer. This acquisition represents a significant expansion of Orlando Health’s services here in Florida.
