Early Morning Launch Success

SpaceX launched its Falcon 9 rocket carrying five BlueBird communications satellites early this morning from Cape Canaveral Space Force Station. Despite a gloomy forecast with only a 30% chance of favorable weather, the launch proceeded at 4:52am. The mission included the return of the Falcon 9’s first-stage booster, which generated powerful sonic booms as it landed back at Cape Canaveral. For this particular rocket, it was the 13th successful launch and landing.
