The Space Coast Transportation Planning Organization has unveiled plans for the Brightline station in Cocoa, which they say promises significant growth for the area. The proposed station, located on 90 acres near State Road 528 and U.S. 1, aims to boost tourism and local businesses with a new hotel and expanded commercial opportunities. As the first Brightline stop on the Space Coast, the station’s development will occur in three phases: construction of the station, followed by the introduction of hotels and businesses. A construction start date has yet to be set.
