Florida Tech researchers are uncovering new social behaviors among spider monkeys at the Brevard Zoo. Unusual observations show the monkeys, often strangers, embracing each other in ways previously undocumented. This research, conducted in collaboration with the zoo, aims to understand the complex pro-social behaviors of the primates, especially those rescued from the illegal pet trade.
