More details have been released following an incident in which a 50 year old Brevard County pilot survived a miraculous emergency landing on FL-407 last Thursday. The man’s single-engine plane lost oil shortly after takeoff from Space Coast Regional Airport. Ronald Lueck guided the aircraft safely onto the road between FL-528 and I-95, avoiding cars, trees, and other hazards. The plane suffered minimal damage, no one was injured, and the FAA is investigating the cause of the malfunction.
