NASA and SpaceX have postponed the Crew-9 mission launch to the International Space Station due to Tropical Storm Helene. Originally scheduled for Thursday, the new launch date is now set for Saturday at 1:17pm. The decision follows concerns about high winds and heavy rain expected to impact Cape Canaveral and Merritt Island as Helene approaches, due to the storm’s large size. Crew-9 is part of NASA’s Commercial Crew Program and will include research and spacewalks during their five-month stay aboard the station.
