As Hurricane Milton approaches, Health First will halt elective procedures starting at 3 p.m. Wednesday and will keep all medical offices closed through Thursday. Cape Canaveral Hospital will remain open though, and fully staffed. Parrish Healthcare is also canceling elective surgeries and closing its facilities Wednesday and Thursday. General visitation will be limited, and the hospital will implement lockdown measures if conditions worsen.
