Falcon Heavy Launch Planned Today

NASA’s Europa Clipper mission is set to launch atop a SpaceX Falcon Heavy today from Kennedy Space Center at 12:06 p.m. The mission will travel 480 million miles to Jupiter’s moon, Europa, where scientists will study its icy surface and potential ocean below. With a 90% chance of favorable weather for today’s launch, the Falcon Heavy will follow a southeast trajectory. If the launch doesn’t happen exactly on time, it will be scrubbed for the day.
