Eyes Again On The Tropics

Nothing to get excited about yet, but the National Hurricane Center is monitoring a system over the central tropical Atlantic, with what they say is about a 50% chance of developing into a tropical storm by late this week. The system is currently disorganized but expected to strengthen as it moves westward toward the Leeward Islands. As to what it may mean for us here in Florida, that is still literally up in the air, but many models point to it missing the state entirely, and that’s good news. Hurricane season officially ends on November 30.
