The Palm Bay Police Department is partnering with the Drug Enforcement Administration for National Drug Take Back Day, next Saturday, October 26. The initiative aims to help residents safely dispose of expired and unused prescription medications, addressing concerns over drug misuse and theft. From 10 a.m. to 2 p.m., people can bring their pills for disposal to the Walmart on Malabar Road. The service is free and anonymous, but liquids, needles, or sharps as they are referred to, will not be accepted.
