More details this morning about a firearm that was found near a Brevard County school earlier this week. A 13-year-old was arrested after allegedly hiding the gun in a backpack near Suntree Elementary School. Sheriff Wayne Ivey says the boy accessed the rifle without permission and went into the woods for target practice, with no evidence he meant to target the school. The incident came to light when someone found the gun in an abandoned bag last Sunday, leading to the arrest.
