Police in Palm Bay have released more information about that weekend shooting that happened on Malabar Road. Investigators say a 17-year-old boy attempted to kill his 16-year-old girlfriend before fatally shooting himself in an attempted murder-suicide that took place where the two met to discuss a breakup. The girl, who was shot in the shoulder, is recovering and at last report was said to be in stable condition. Police say alcohol was involved and they now say they have confirmed that the boy’s gunshot wound was self-inflicted. The investigation continues.
