The Melbourne City Council has approved an expansion for Northrop Grumman, set to accommodate around 1,200 employees. The project, code-named “Project Daisy,” will include a 50-foot-tall high bay, office buildings, and a mechanical yard on a 37.7-acre site near NASA Boulevard. The expansion aims to modernize Northrop Grumman’s Melbourne facility, a key site for advanced aircraft development. The plan also includes 1,220 parking spaces and traffic improvements for NASA Boulevard. Construction is expected to begin soon.
