A rare white squirrel has been spotted in Indialantic, drawing attention from both locals and researchers. The squirrel, often seen on fences along Pine Tree Drive, is an unusual sight since its color is a genetic anomaly among the typically gray squirrels. Neighbors have affectionately named it “Snowy.” Experts believe the squirrel may have either been a former pet or is a product of a rare genetic mutation.
