Fuel Pipeline Proposal Under Discussion

Port Canaveral officials are backing a proposal to build a fuel pipeline connecting the Space Coast to Orlando International Airport that they say will ensure a reliable fuel supply, especially during storms that disrupt shipments from Tampa. With the port already moving over 3 million tons of fuel statewide, the new pipeline is seen as a crucial infrastructure project to support high air traffic at the Orlando airport. Port officials are now working with the Florida Department of Transportation to expedite its development.
