A 78-year-old Melbourne woman was killed Sunday morning in a crash on I-95 after a tire malfunction caused her pickup truck to veer off the road near Palm Bay. The crash occurred around 11:50 a.m. when the right front tire blew out on her 2008 Ford F-250, sending the vehicle into the grass shoulder before striking two trees and a fence. The driver was pronounced dead at the scene. Her name has not been released. The Florida Highway Patrol is investigating.
