As temperatures in Central Florida began to drop, Brevard County began opening cold weather shelters starting Saturday evening. With feels-like temperatures dipping into the 30s and 40s, two shelters are now available to those in need. LifePointe Ministries in Titusville opens at 5 p.m. with dinner and breakfast provided, while Daily Bread in Melbourne opens at 6 p.m., also offering meals. More shelters may open if the cold snap continues.
