Blue Origin Gets FAA Approval To Launch New Glenn Rocket

Blue Origin has received approval from the FAA to launch its New Glenn rocket from Cape Canaveral Space Force Station. The commercial space license will allow the company to conduct orbital missions, including national security launches. Blue Origin was aiming for its first launch attempt before the end of the year, with plans to land the rocket’s first stage on a barge in the Atlantic Ocean, similar to SpaceX’s Falcon 9.
