Pt St John Fire Cause Ruled Accident From 4-Wheeler

Investigators now say a fire that caused significant damage to a home in Port St. John back on December 20, was caused after sparks from a four-wheeler ignited a power line, spreading flames to the attic. The homeowner discovered the fire through her surveillance system while at work. No injuries were reported, but her dogs were rescued by a neighbor who removed a window AC unit to enter the home to get to them. Brevard County Fire Rescue responded with multiple units. The family is staying with neighbors as they recover from the damage.
