According to just released information, Palm Bay police officers rescued a pregnant woman from a sinking car in a canal off Bayside Lakes Boulevard on December 26. The officers were responding to reports of downed powerlines when they heard banging from the submerged vehicle. Using a baseball bat, they broke the windows and pulled the woman to safety. Thankfully, the woman was unharmed.
