Cedar’s Cafe in the Publix Plaza on Wickham Road in Melbourne was hit by vandalism and a small fire early last Thursday morning, causing minor damage. One of the owners discovered the fire in a back unit upon arriving at work and quickly extinguished the blaze, that mainly affected a wooden enclosure housing the cooler. Vandals also caused damage to security cameras. The Brevard County Sheriff’s Office is investigating.
