A Brightline train struck and killed a pedestrian Wednesday night in Melbourne, marking the second Brightline-related fatality in Brevard County this year. Police say the pedestrian was seen standing on the tracks near Fee Avenue just before the collision occurred around 8:30 p.m. This tragedy follows another fatal Brightline crash involving a pedestrian late Sunday in the same area.
