Vehicle Assembly Building At Kennedy Space Center Recognized Worldwide

If you’ve never seen it up close, perhaps you don’t realize just how immense it is. NASA’s Vehicle Assembly Building at The Kennedy Space Center right here in Brevard County, ranks as the seventh largest building in the world. Standing 525 feet tall and spanning 8 acres, the VAB, built in 1966 for the Apollo/Saturn V program, remains a key structure for space missions. The VAB also features the largest American flag in the world, measuring 23,000 square feet, making the building right here in our backyard a national landmark.
