Truck Crash Leads To Vehicle Fire And I-95 Shutdown In Cocoa

A vehicle fire on southbound I-95 in Cocoa caused a lot of traffic delays Tuesday morning. The Florida Highway Patrol says the fire was first reported just before 7am yesterday, when a semi-truck lost control, hit a tree, and caught fire. The two people in that truck, a 56-year-old male driver and a 46-year-old male passenger, were hospitalized with non-life-threatening injuries. Two southbound lanes remained closed into the evening.
