Space Perspective Fighting Airport Eviction

Space Perspective is fighting eviction from Space Coast Regional Airport after failing to pay over $90,000 in rent. The Titusville-Cocoa Airport Authority is pushing for an immediate default judgment to reclaim the company’s leased properties, including a balloon manufacturing facility. The space tourism startup, which once planned to offer $125,000 balloon rides to the edge of space, has faced financial struggles, furloughs, and a separate lawsuit over unpaid hiring fees. A court hearing is now set for March 5.
