Did The Lunar Lander Tip Over??

A privately owned lunar lander, Athena, touched down on the moon’s south pole Thursday but encountered issues, leaving its exact position uncertain. Intuitive Machines reported conflicting data, raising concerns it may have tipped over. Despite this, the lander is generating solar power and communicating with controllers. While the full extent of its scientific mission remains unclear, NASA’s upcoming Lunar Reconnaissance Orbiter sweep will confirm the lander’s status. This is the second moon landing this week by a private company under NASA’s commercial lunar delivery program.
