It’s now been confirmed… It was an EF-2 tornado that struck in Seminole County on Monday morning, with winds reaching 120 mph. The tornado touched down near Interstate 4 in the Longwood/Lake Mary area around 9:30 yesterday morning, causing significant damage, including downed trees and destruction of homes and buildings. The storm brought heavy rain and tornado warnings to the Orlando area. For the most part, we here in Brevard County were spared.
